Coronavirus death at Bolton Hospital despite fall in patients
A coronavirus death has been recorded at the Royal Bolton Hospital for the second time this week.
Data released daily by NHS England showed that a patient had died of Covid-19 on Wednesday with another death happening on Monday (August 2).
This takes the total amount of people who have died from coronavirus at Bolton Hospital to 696.
The first death of the pandemic at the hospital came on March 20 last year.
This comes as the number of patients being treated for Covid-19 at the hospital falls.
As of August 3, the latest data available, 45 people were being treated for Covid at Bolton Hospital , a drop from the 52 that were being treated just over a week before (July 24).
